Camp Tuscazoar Foundation, 11/01/1999

The Camp Tuscazoar Foundation is trying to preserve Camp Tuscazoar so that young people will be able to continue to enjoy its natural beauty.  Camp Tuscazoar is opened to the public as well as the Scouting organizations.  The Camp Tuscazoar Foundation welcomes all the help that it can get to 'Keep the Fires Burning'.  Check the Camp Tuscazoar Website and help us to continue to give young people something to remember all their life.

These pictures are of Camp Tuscazoar 1999.  Duryee Lodge has been renovated to accommodate Campmaster that help out during the year.  The Camp Tuscazoar Foundation continues to renovate the Tuscazoar Campground.  A new water system has been installed, and behind the mess hall one will find the BBQ pits.   A lot of this work is done by Camp Tuscazoar Foundation volunteers, who contribute their time as well as their money to improve the conditions of the camp.  The pictures were taken during the Fall Camporee that Buckeye Council supported for this years activities.   It is hoped that Buckeye Council will support more activities at Camp Tuscazoar.  This will offer young and old alike something different for their camping experience.  New events are constantly being scheduled throughout the year for campers.

The swimming pool has now been filled in and open field is now used for demonstrations.
