Troop 18

Eagle Review

Troop 18, now 108, (2008), came into existence in March of 1995.  Many boys had transferred from another troop.  Robert happened to be one of those boys.  It was with great pleasure when we could say that Troop 18 had it's first Eagle.  It was decided to create this WebPages in honor of our Eagle Scouts.nesa2.jpg (6960 bytes)

Tony is active in the Marlington High School Band as Field Commander.  He is a member of the National Honor Society and was a Boys State Delegate.  He works for RF Technology in Alliance, and plans to attend college next year.  He hopes to become an engineer.

After completing his project, Jonn Hickerson earned his Eagle on 8/21/2000.

Jonn's project was to clean up the parking area around the Broombaugh Nature Center.  This was a major effort because of the great deal of brush that had grown up in the area.  Also they renovated the Trail Sign that is posted at the parking lot.  The results of these activities is a much cleaner and safer area for the public.

Troop 18 has shown a remarkable record in the last 5 years.  It is hoped that a tradition of excellence will be established as the years go on, and that the Troop will have a long record of promoting young man into the ranks of Eagle.
